A Few Brave Men

I was at a Veterans Day remembrance and celebration ceremony, the other day, and was filled with patriotic pride. It was held at the Veterans Home

This morning at the Foot of Ten Emelentary School, I went to their annual Veteran's Day Celebration and let me tell you, it was moving.

Veterans Day originated as "Armistice Day" on November 11, 1919, the first anniversary of the end of World War I.

VFW Bellwood

A 231st  birthday celebration will be held November 10. Cake cutting will be at 8:30pm and a DJ will begin at 9pm at the United Vets Club, 419 Main Street  Bellwood, Pennsylvania.
