German Days

German Days were held this past weekend at our local German Club, established 85 years ago.  This is always a good time.  Ein Prosit!  My grandfather was a member way back when he came over from Deutschland before the war. Good food, great beer, wunderbar musik und fabelhoft dancing!  I had a busy weekend, but wanted to get there for Sunday Morning mass celebrated by Fr. Brad. What a great guy!  I only got a few photos of the folks in their ethnic outfits. I wanted to get more, but had to get to my next event.  The choir and the dancers looked so sharp in their lederhosen and dirndls.  Young and old alike were decked out in their duds.  The schuhplattlers are always the hit of the weekend.
