You Learn Something OLD Everyday
I wanted to comment on the two very well written stories about the 'content' of stories, written by Cousin Mike's and another by Paula Z ( So Much to Say and Keep it to Yourself are the titles of their blogs ) This is just my opinion, and everyone is entitled to it. :) I constantly yearn to learn, and the 3 educational sites I am constatnly visiting for research are Google, Wikipedia and Storytrax. I know there aren't many people who read about the 2 topics I post most about; art and dance. So, I try to make it fun and interesting by using the art of cartooning ,and the latest blogs I've submitted about handicapable square dancing is to get some folks attention about the success of these extraordinary folks.
Every so often, I like to write about a funny story that has happened to me, or share an inspirational story too. I try to get the reader's attention with some of my titles. I'd like to see more seniors posting stories about the 'good old days'. I really want to get some of my gramma's stories about 'surviving the Depression' on tape. They are quite comical because she was the runt of the litter, growing up with about a half dozen brothers. Her two sisters were both already grown up, so gramma was quite the tom boy. Oh, man, can she tell a story.
I've learned, in our fast-paced, short attention span world, that if I have a long story, I need to break it up in parts and sequels. Because who wants to see a blog with 20 paragraphs, 15 photos and 10 videos? Not me. That's way too much. That's why I've tried to keep my stories short, sweet and to the point ( adjectives that do not describe me ) I like how the one article talks about our stories being our autobiography and leaving our mark or legacy. I also like the other article about how some of these blogs have no interest to certain people, just like some of the current headlines. I agree with both sides and views. I've always been like Switerland, and like a good teacher have always enjoyed listening to both sides of a story. My friends have always picked on me by saying, 'choose a side, Cor.'
I would like to encourage everyone out there in Storytrax land who are the writers, please keep on writing. The new video postings with the different businesses are very interesting in a TLC, Discovery Channel and PBS kind of way. And, to all the readers, please write a few lines, or post a few pictures. Try some videos, if you got the right equipment. I think of Storytrax as the modern day Time Capsule. Archeologists digging this stuff up in 1000 years are going to read our stories and think one of two things, "Wow! They were really interesting way back when!" or "No one had a life back then either."

A good story
Good thoughts Cory. We all have a story to share. On another note this is the first comment on storytrax written on an iphone.
