Mallory Square Sunset competes with Majestic Mountains

Once we got back to our condo to take in some zzz's and shower before heading up to the early evening hot spot of Mallory Square, we drank a toast to our good day (big surprise...more booze...).

We hopped into the car and headed up towards Mallory Square.  We parked the car and decided to go check out the street performers that were there.  We kind of all split up for a bit while we all saw acts that we liked.  The Disney Cruise Ship "MAGIC" was docked at Mallory Square, spewing its contents of people, making it very crowded.

As our gang got back together to view the sun as it went down over the Gulf of Mexico, I stood in awe, finally understanding what Jimmy Buffett talked about in his songs...this was absolutely awesome.  Larry and I stood taking photo after photo.  Steve was taking pictues with his camera phone.  We watched the sun go down in a breathtaking display of light...orange, yellow, red...like fire in the sky.

When we turned to Cory, he had been taking pictures as well.  However, he had caught different scenery.  Standing next to us was a very buxom blonde...Cowboy hat, blue bikini top on...absolutely gorgeous.  Cory was snapping shots of her ample cleavage.  Not that his actions were the funny part to this story...more like expected...was the conversation that went on between blondie and another girl who had been standing nearby.

There was a girl and her boyfriend standing next to us as well.  Well, she had noticed Cory taking photos of the blonde.  She ACTUALLY TOLD ON CORY!!!  The blonde, who was obviously no stranger to stares, made the comment "tell him to come back, he can take more!!!"  While Larry, Steve and I tried to keep from falling in the water from laughing so hard, Cory just went about his business like nothing unusual was going on.  He still has that picture on his phone.  We look at it from time to time to remind us that Mallory Square has more than just good sunsets.

BLONDES, BIKINIS & BIMBOS

Hey, Mikey! I recall being selected to participate in a magic escape artist act in Mallory Square. Do you remember any details? Not only was much vision blurred, but so was my speech. Why do I keep seeing a picture of a heavy tweed rope, rusty anchor chains and a lock?
