MR. ROGERS' NEIGHBORHOOD, SUCH A GOOD FEELING

For those of you bringing up some wee ones in the house, I have a children's program you need to watch with them. Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood. Some friends of mine, who started watching the show, again, but with their little ones now, always tell me "I liked Mr. Rogers when I was a kid, but I really like the show now". Some say they've forgotten how gentle and soft spoken the show was and others say it's best free therapy over the air waves you can possibly get. I looked at several clips, but wanted one that had Fred talking a little about his history in TV and then important parts of his program. This clip had the well known episode of where Mr. Rogers' goldfish died, also a segment from his week long program on divorce and the wonderful clip of Mr. Rogers' and Jeff and his fancy wheelchair. I hope parents and grandparents watch this clip and start tuning into Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood on a daily basis. In this fast-paced world, everyone could use a half and hour of peace and quiet. Check your local PBS listings. FYI this video seg starts out at an awards ceremony honoring Fred Rogers, then goes into the history.
I bet after you watch a couple episodes you start to feel better and begin to do more good for you and your friends and family. Mr. Rogers' wonderfulness is quite catching.
