BOO Ha Ha (Part 4) A Story for Cory

I told Tom, “You go on up there and have a good time in the restroom, if you need me, I’ll be down in the gift shop and snack bar. All this dancing on the ceilings worked me up an appetite. About a half and hour goes by and I am sipping on a Mountain Dew, because that’s what I really needed, more of the heebie jeebies.  I’m relaying the events that had just happened to my gramma, and she is giggling too. Tom comes into the gift shop and told me that I was crazy cause he didn’t get any signs or readings in the lavatory.

I told him that whatever was in there already did their business by scaring the snot out of me. Tom began to browse around the gift shop. Remember, this was a private tour so there was only me, Tommy, my gramma, the housekeeper, and I believe the curator in house. As I told gramma and the other staff members about the series of coincidences that had happened since noon, and really wanting to leave, Tom was taking his sweet time looking for something to buy.

After about 10 minutes I said, “C’mon, buy a Hershey Bar and let’s make like a gaggle of geese and get the flock out of here.” Tom was looking for something with ghosts as a souvenir, but almost all the merchandise was historical stuff. So, I randomly reached down into a basket of cassette tapes and surprisingly pulled out the only copy called Ghost Stories. Yes, I did jump a little bit, because I am already beyond freaked out. It was like pulling my own number in the lottery. You jump back a bit.

Now this is the straw that broke the camel’s back. As I went up to the counter to pay for this piece of dung audio tape, I just so happened to turn the cassette over to read the titles of the different tracks and, I am not making this up one bit….The very first Ghost Story was fittingly entitled A STORY FOR CORY. Spelled exactly the way I spell my name.

To this, I turned around and I fainted.

DAS ENDE
Anyone of you ghost hunters who say the dress of Elias Baker's daughter is the haunted part of the mansion, I say, "Pfft!"
And to those who say there are '13 ghosts haunting the dining and  living rooms of the mansion, I say "Phooey on youie!"
The ghost at BM is either 'in or on'  the can.
