Help with inserting pictures and video into your blog post
Inserting an Image
1. To insert an image into your blog post quickly, click on the image button on the toolbar where you type out the body of your story blog posting. This will load the "Image Properties" window.
2. If your image is already somewhere on the internet, just type the where its located underneath where it says URL and click OK. If you have the image on your computer and need to upload it - click the "Browse Server" button in the upper right hand corner.
NOTE - if this pop up window does not load, make sure you have disabled any pop-up blockers you may have running since sometimes they interfere with StoryTrax.
3. If you click "Browse Server" another pop up window will load. This is the "Image/File Browser". You can upload images by clicking the "Browse" button on the bottom. You can then find the image on your computer you wish to upload from your computer. Finally, click the "Upload File" button. After the image is done uploading, you will notice it in the list of images on the top. Click the "add" button to the right of the image file name, and this will close the "Image/File Browser", and your image will automatically be entered underneath URL in the "Image Properties" window.
4. Finally, click OK at the bottom of the "Image Properties" window and the image will be inserted.
Inserting a Video
StoryTrax is automatically configured to work with YouTube. After uploading your video there, you can add it to your blog simply by typing the internet location (URL) of the video anywhere in the body of the story blog. When you preview the blog you will notice that the video has automatically been inserted into your story blog.
