The ARTS Channel

I was sitting here typing, listening to WPSU, classical music, when I decided to turn on TV to see if I could get it on channel 14.  Every once in awhile, WPSU is broadcasted over the Public and Educational Access Channels.  That way, I can read the postings and announcements throughout the community. But what to my wondering eyes should appear, but a new station.  I noticed the lower thirds graphic in the bottom, right hand side ( where most artists sign there work ) and it read ARTS

I quickly went online to find their website, and have been watching, listening and reading for one full hour. Is the cable company just teasing us with showing a few clips from a possible new channel? It's absolutely wonderful.  Symphonies, operas, ballets and art museum tours have been playing like a very peaceful slide show.  As I read the website, I learn this channel has it all with film, music, art, dance and literature.  Where do I sign up?

Does anyone know if this is just a 'tease' or is it in slate?

Will I come home tonight to find it off? http://www.theartschannel.co.nz/

Argh!  It just switched off!  Drat!  I need info!  Do they take pledges to keep it going?
